3、tosubstratesofbiologicalinterest.Itdevelopsinmildconditions,givingahighyieldinthepresenceofdifferentfunctionalgroupsonthesulfide.OtherbinarysystemssuchasFe(NO3)3FeBr2andCu(NO3)2CuBr2arealsoeffectivecatalystsforsulfoxidation.Incontrasttopreviousoxygenationmethods,thisoxidationrequiresnei
