3、heworkingfluid.1IntroductionThedesignofradialinflowturbinesisdescribedbyRohlikminimumlossesirrespectiveofthelossmodel,andassociated(1968,1975),Glassman(1976),RodgersandGeiser(1987),uncertainties,used.Rodgers(1987),andWhitfieldandBaines(1989).Thesepro•ceduresaredevelopedthroughtheapplicationofthefun
4、•2InitialDesignSpecificationdamentalturbomachineryandgasdynamicequations,similaritytechniques(particularlyspecificspeed),andem•Inordertodevelopageneralprocedure,itwillbeassumedpiricallossmodels.TheproceduredevelopedbyRohlik(1968)initiallythatonlythedesiredpoweroutputisspecified.Theledtoaseriesofcor
