1、AddingFilestoMoodleIntro:IfyouarefamiliarwithWebCT,the“Files”areaofMoodleissimilartothe“MyFiles”areaofWebCT4.SimilartoWebCT,studentswillnotautomaticallyseeitemsthathavebeenuploadedtothe“Files”areaofMoodle.Toallowstudentstoseethefilesthathavebeenuploadedtothisareainstructorshavetwooptions:A.

2、“Linktoafileorawebsite”:Withthisoption(seedirectionsbelow)youaddalinkfromthehomepagethatwillpointstoaspecificdocumentthathasbeenuploadedtothe“Files”areas.Forexample,ifyouhave10PowerPointfilesyouwillneedtoadd10linksintheappropriateweek/topic.B.“DisplayaDirectory”:Withthisoption(see“LinktoDir

3、ectory”tutorial)youcanlinktoadirectory/folderfromyour“Files”areaofMoodle.Thiswayitwillbepossibletohaveonelinkthatallowsuserstoview/downloadalltenfiles.Linktoafileorawebsitedirections1.LogintoMoodleandnavigatetoyourcourse.2.Clickthe“Turneditingon”button--locatedintheupperrighthandportionofth
