2、conomicstothenextlevel. Thus the title, “Taking Ecological Economics Seriously: It’s the Biosphere, Stupid.” Weeachcometoecologicaleconomicsfromourowndistinctiveexperienceandperspective.Weviewtheworldthroughdifferentlenses,andtherebyseedifferenttruths.Beingint

3、erdisciplinaryispartofwhatmakesecologicaleconomicsinterestingandpotentiallypowerful.AsRobertnoted,IcomefromabusinessschoolbackgroundwithafocusontheWeneedatrulynewdesignofcomplexculturalandinstitutionaleconomicsthatreachesasfarsystems. I’m primarily concerned w

4、ith how beyondtheunderstandingoftheinterplayofculturalvaluesandinstitutionalstructuresshapesindividualconventionaleconomicsandcollectivebehavior.asquantumphysicsreachesbeyondtheunderstandingofWhat Robert didn’t mention, is that I conventionalNewtonianworkedfor
