5、stobeextremelysmall,sion.Inpracticalsituations,owingtoparticularobservationstrate-gies(forinstance,rasterscans)astronomicaldataareoftenredun-conventionalcompressionmethodscannotbeused.dant;inthatcontext,wepointoutthataCS-basedcompressionRecently,analternativesamplingtheoryhasemergedw
6、hichschemeisflexibleenoughtoaccountforparticularobservationalshowsthatsignalscanberecoveredfromfarfewersamplesstrategies.Indeed,weshowalsothatCSprovidesanewfantastic(measurements)thanwhattheNyquist/Shannonsamplingwaytohandlemultipleobservationsofthesamefieldview,allowingtheorystates.Th
