2、n,orlibraryWhentheprojectmanagerwindowisactive,youcansaveaneworexistingproject,design,orlibrary.TheSavecommandsavesallopendocumentsreferencedbytheproject,aswellastheprojectitself.Note:Exceptforoccurrenceproperties,theschematicsofexternally-referencedlibrariesa
3、nddesignsshouldnotbeedited.Youshouldviewthemasread-onlydesigns.Tryingtoedit,thensave,thesedesignsfromwithinyourschematiccanintroduceerrorssuchasduplicatereferencedesignatorsandotherproblems.Whensavingschematicswithexternally-referencedlibrariesordesigns,occurr
4、encepropertiesaresavedbutalteredinstancevaluesarenot.Ifyouwanttochangeexternally-referencedlibrariesordesignsyoushouldfirstclosethereferencingdesign.Then,openthereferencedlibraryordesign,makethenecessarychanges,andsaveandclosethereferencedlibraryordesign.Atthi
5、spoint,youcanreopentheoriginaldesignandreferencethemodifieddesign.TheSaveAscommandsavesfilesdependingonwhatyouhaveselectedintheprojectmanager.Ifoneormoredesignsorlibrariesareselected,youarepromptedtosaveeachfileinturn.Ifnotop-levelfolders(DesignResourcesorOutp
6、uts)areselected,anditemsotherthandesignsorlibrariesareselected,theSaveAscommandisunavailable.Ifnodesignsorlibrariesareselectedintheprojectmanager,youarepromptedtosavetheproject.1Note:WhenyouusetheSaveAscommand,youarepromptedtochoosethefiletypefromtheSaveAsType
