1、Deadline:October15,2012UCLASchoolofLawLawFellowsProgramTheLawFellowsProgramprovidesearlyacademicdevelopmenttohigh-potentialundergraduatestudentsandcollegegraduates.Tobeeligibletoparticipate,applicantsmusthaveatleasta3.3cumulativeundergraduateGPAachievedatafour-yearinstitution.Theprogra

2、mfocusesonparticipants’academicdevelopment,withtheobjectiveofincreasingtheiracademiccompetitivenessforadmissiontolawschool.Ourinitiativeiscommittedtoensuringequity,access,andexcellenceinlegaleducationbothinCaliforniaandnationally.Astrongpreferenceisgrantedtoapplicantswhoseexperiencesre

3、flectlimitedfamilialexposuretopost-collegiateeducation,careeropportunities,mentoring,andsocialsupportsystems.Additionalconsiderationisgiventoapplicantswhohaveovercomeeconomicand/oreducationalhardshipsandchallenges,orhavecomefrom,ordemonstratedleadershipexperiencein,economicallyoreducat

4、ionallyunderservedcommunities.LawFellowsattendaseriesofmonthlySaturdayAcademiesheldatUCLASchoolofLawinthewinterandspring,wheretheyareprovidedwithmentoring,academicenrichment,andcareerdevelopmentactivitiesdesignedtode-mystifylawschoolandthelegalprofession,andtopresenttheseobjectivesasvi
