3、on2),associatedhardwareandantennagainsarerequiredandlegacypayloadshaveusuallytechnologies(Section3)andtworelevantPAFRdesignemployedlargereflectorswithsinglebeamsthatareeitherexamples(Section4).Section2reviewsvariousPAFRfixedormechanicallysteered.Formanyapplications,the
4、rearearchitecturesandprovidesarelativecomparisonofinherentlimitationsthatareassociatedwiththeuseofthesefundamentalarchitecturalfeaturesandassociatedlegacyantennas/payloads.performancetrades.WecomparetheRFperformanceofHybridantennadesignsusingPhasedArrayFedReflectorsvar
5、iousPAFRarchitectures,compareassociatedarrayfeeds(PAFRs)provideacompromisebetweenreflectorsandDirectanddescribekeyarchitectureandimplementationtrades.RadiatingphasedArrays(DRAs).PAFRsprovidemanyoftheSection3focusesmoreonreflectorandfeedarrayhardwareperformancebenefitso
