2、minationofabiopsyisthemostreliableandwidelyusedtechniquetodiagnosebonecancer.However,itsuffersfrombothinter-andintra-observersubjectivity.Techniquesforautomatedtissuemodelingandclassificationcanreducethissubjectivityandincreasestheaccuracyofbonecancerdiagnosis.Thispaperpresentsagraphtheoreticalmet
3、hod,calledextracellularmatrix(ECM)-awarecell-graphmining,thatcombinestheECMformationwiththedistributionofcellsinhematoxylinandeosinstainedhistopathologicalimagesofbonetissuessamples.Thismethodcanidentifydifferenttypesofcellsthatcoexistinthesametissueasaresultofitsfunctionalstate.Thus,itmodelsthes
4、tructure-functionrelationshipsmorepreciselyandclassifiesbonetissuesamplesaccuratelyforcancerdiagnosis.Thetissueimagesaresegmented,usingtheeigenvaluesoftheHessianmatrix,tocom-putespatialcoordinatesofcellnucleiasthenodesofcorrespondingcell-graph.Uponsegmentationacolorcodeisassignedtoeachnodebasedont
