3、imapriortotheissuanceofanyFormDS-2019. YoumayfindalistofinsurancecompanieswithpoliciesthatmeetDepartmentofStatestandardsonourInsuranceCompaniesListingpage. Insurancecoveragedatesmustmatch theprogramstartandenddatesontheexchangevisitor'sDS-2019.  Theinsurancerequiremen

4、tappliesalsotoanydependentsinExchangeVisitorDependent(J-2)status. Ifdependentswillarriveaftertheexchangevisitor,insurancemaybepurchasedforthemclosertotheirarrivalintheUS;however,proofofthatinsurancemustbesubmittedtoMs.Loughrannolaterthanfive(5)daysafterthedependents'a

5、rrivalintheU.S. IndividualswhoareeligibletopurchasehealthinsuranceundertheTempleUniversityemployeeplanswillalsoneedtopurchaseadditionalcoverageformedicalevacuationandrepatriation. ThesuggestedvendorforthisadditionalcoverageisMEDEX.TheRequirementsProgramparticipantsand

6、theirdependentsarerequiredtohavemedicalinsurancecoverageFORTHEDURATIONOFTHEIRPROGRAMwiththefollowingminimumbenefits[22CFR62.14].·Medicalbenefitsof atleast $50,000peraccidentorillness·Repatriationofremainsintheamountof$7,500·Expensesassociatedwiththemedicalevacuationof

7、theexchangevisitortohisorherhomecountryintheamountof$10,000·Adeductiblenottoexceed$500peraccidentorillness.·AninsurancepolicysecuredtomeetthebenefitsrequirementsmustbeunderwrittenbyaninsurancecorporationwithanA.M.Bestratingof"A-"orabove,anInsuranceSolvencyInternationa
