3、etheeffectsofpumpwavelength,theEr3+:Yb3+glassdiskhasalsobeenpumpedbyaTi:A1203laserat960and980nm,andweobtainedhighoutputpower(70mW)andthehighestslopeefficiency(21%for980-nmpumping)reportedtodateforabulkEr:glasslaser.LaseroscillatorsbasedonEr3"-dopedglassesandplanodi
4、skiscoatedforhighreflectivityat1.54,umfibershaverecentlybecomethesubjectofgreat(R=99.9%)andantireflectioncoatedat960-interest,'15inparticularfortheirpotentialusein980nm(R<6%).Theotherfaceishigh-opticalcommunicationsystemsoperatingnearreflectivitycoatedat960-980nm(R
