5、vices.Thesecomponentscanfailduetomechanicalstresses,electricalstresses,andoverloadingwhichcouldleadtoasystemfailure.Ifthenormalpathtoavitalloadcannotsupplypowertoit,thenitshouldbepoweredthroughitsalternatepath.Theprocessofrestoring,balancing,andminimizingpowerlos
6、sestoloadsiscallednetworkreconfiguration.Prognosticsistheabilitytopredictpreciselyandaccuratelytheremainingusefullifeofafailingcomponent.Inthiswork,theprognosticinformationofthepowersystemcomponentsisusedtodetermineifreconfigurationshouldbeperformedifthesystemisu
7、nabletoaccomplishitsmission.EachcomponentwillbeanalyzedusingtheWeibullDistributiontocomputetheconditionalreliabilityfrompresenttimetotheendofthemission.Todetermineifreconfigurationisneeded,allcomponentstoagivenloadwillbeutilizedinstructurefunctionstodetermineifal
