4、sdissertationattemptstoestablishananalyticalandcomprehensiveframeworktodealwithtwocriticalchallengesassociatedwithvoltagestabilityanalysis:1.Tostudythenewcompetitiveenvironmentappropriatelyandgivemoreincentiveforreactivepowersupports,onehastoevaluatetheimpactsof

5、distributedmarketforcesonvoltagestability,whichcomplicatesthevoltagestabilityanalysis.2.Accuratelyestimatingvoltagestabilitymarginonlineisalwaysthegoaloftheindustry.Industryusedtoapplystaticanalysisforitscomputationspeedatthecostoflosingaccuracy.Ontheotherhand,d

6、ynamicanalysiscanresultinmoreaccurateestimation,butgenerallyhasahugecomputationcost.Soachallengeistoestimatethevoltagestabilitymarginaccuratelyandefficientlyatareasonablecost,especiallyforlargesystem.Consideringthefirstchallenge,thisdissertationappliedeigenvalue

7、basedbifurcationanalysistoallocatethecontributionofvoltagestability.Weinvestigatehowparametersofthesysteminfluencethebifurcations.Threebifurcations(singularityinducedbifurcation,saddle-nodeandHopfbifurcation)andtheirrelationshiptoseveralcommonlyusedcontrollersar

8、eanalyzed.Theirparameters’impactonthesebifurcationshavebeeninvestigated,fromwhichwefoundawaytoallocatethecontributionbyanalyzingtherelativepositionsofthebifurcations.
