3、elconverterarrangementallowsthesystemtobeconstructedinamodularfashiontogaineconomiesofscaleandredundancy.Theconvertersareconnectedtocommonac-anddc-buseswithoutisolationandarecontrolledwithoutinter-convertercommunicationoramaster/slavearrangement.Thesystemwassimulatedandtheresultsval

4、idatedagainstanexperimentalsetup.Bothsteady-stateanddynamicloadsharingwereachievedthroughtheuseofdroopedPIspeedregulators.PIcontrollerswereusedtoregulatethequadraturecurrentsprovidedbyeachconverter.Circulating0-sequencecurrentwasregulatedusingPcontrollers.Alinearizedstate-spacemodel

5、ofthesystemwasdevelopedandaneigenvalueanalysiswasperformed,showingsystemstability.Speedstepsinsimulationandinthelaboratorydemonstratedgoodresponse.Thelossofoneconverter’sgatingwasemulated.Thesystemcontinuedtooperate,showinganadvantageofsystemredundancy.iiAcknowledgementsIwouldliketo
