3、temployed.Thepointofviewisthatgivenbythebusinessman'swork,--theaims,motives,andmeansthatconditioncurrentbusinesstraffic.Thischoiceofapointofviewisitselfgivenbythecurrenteconomicsituation,inthatthesituationplainlyisprimarilyabusinesssituation.Amuchmoreextendedanddetailedexaminationoftheramificatio
4、nsandconsequencesofbusinessenterpriseandbusinessprincipleswouldfeasible,andshouldgiveinterestingresults.Itmightconceivablyleadtosomethingofarevision(modernization)ofmorethanonepointinthecurrentbodyofeconomicdoctrines.Butitshouldapparentlyprovemoreparticularyinterestingifitwerefollowedupatlargeint
5、hebearingofthismodernforceuponculturalgrowth,apartfromwhatisofimmediateeconomicinterest.Thisculturalbearingofbusinessenterprise,however,belongsratherinthefieldofthesociologistthaninthatoftheprofessedeconomist;sothatthepresentinquiry,initslaterchapters,sinsratherbyexceedingthelegitimateboundsofeco
