1、TownofApexElectricUtilitiesDivisionApplicationandProceduresforInterconnectingACertifiedPhotovoltaicGeneratingFacility1.0TheCustomercompletestheInterconnectionRequest(“Application”)andsubmitsittotheTownofApexElectricUtilitiesDivision.2.0TheElectricUtilitiesDivisionacknowledgestotheCustom

2、erreceiptoftheApplicationwithinthreebusinessdaysofreceipt.3.0TheElectricUtilitiesDivisionevaluatestheApplicationforcompletenessandnotifiestheCustomerwithintenBusinessDaysofreceiptthattheApplicationisorisnotcompleteand,ifnotadviseswhatmaterialismissing.4.0TheElectricUtilitiesDivisionveri

3、fiesthatthePhotovoltaicGeneratingFacilitycanbeinterconnectedsafelyandreliably.TheElectricUtilitiesDivisionhas15businessdaystocompletethisprocess.UnlesstheElectricUtilitiesDivisiondeterminesanddemonstratesthatthePhotovoltaicGeneratingFacilitycannotbeinterconnectedsafelyandreliably,theEle

4、ctricUtilitiesDivisionapprovestheApplicationandreturnsittotheCustomer.5.0Afterinstallation,theCustomerreturnstheCertificateofCompletiontotheElectricUtilitiesDivisionPriortoparalleloperation,theDivisionmayinspectthePhotovoltaicGeneratingFacilityforcompliancewithstandardswhichmayincludeaw

5、itnesstest,andmayscheduleappropriatemeteringreplacement,ifnecessary.6.0TheElectricUtilitiesDivisionnotifiestheCustomerinwritingthatinterconnectionofthePhotovoltaicGeneratingFacilityisauthorized.Ifthewitnesstestisnotsatisfactory,theElectricUtilitiesDivisionhastherighttodisconnectthePhoto

6、voltaicGeneratingFacility.TheCustomerhasnorighttooperateinparalleluntilawitnesstesthasbeenperformedorpreviouslywaivedontheApplication.TheElectricUtilitiesDivisionisobligatedtocompletethiswitnesstestwithintenbusinessdaysofthereceiptoftheCertificateofCompletion.IftheDivisiondoesnotinspect

7、withintenbusinessdaysorbymutualagreementoftheParties,thewitnesstestisdeemedwaived.7.0ContactInformation-TheCustomermustprovidethecontactinformationforthelegalapplicant(i.e.,theInterconnectionCustomer).Ifanotherentityisresponsibleforinterfacingwiththeelectricdistributionsystem,t
