3、healthcarecentersinQatar.Across-sectionaldefinedas“anydegreeofglucoseintolerancewithstudywascarriedoutat21primarycarecentersandonsetorfirstrecognitionduringpregnancy”.ThisdatawerecollectedforallpregnantwomenattendingdefinitionacknowledgesthepossibilitythatpatientsantenatalclinicbetweenM
4、archandJune2010frommayhavepreviouslyundiagnoseddiabetesmellitus,ortheantenataldatabaseinthematernalandchildmayhavedevelopeddiabetescoincidentallywithhealthsection.Thestudyincluded4295pregnantpregnancy.Whethersymptomssubsideafterpregnancyisalsoirrelevanttothediagnosis(1).womenattendingan
5、tenatalcareclinicsat16primaryGenerally,GDMhasfewsymptomsanditismosthealthcarecentersandscreenedforGDM.Outofcommonlydiagnosedbyscreeningduringpregnancy.them,275womenhadGDM,yieldingaprevalenceofGestationaldiabetesaffects3%-10%ofpregnancies,6.4%.Themostsignificantpredictorswereage35dependi
6、ngonthepopulationstudied(2).yearsormore(OR=3.8,95%CI=2.4-6.4),multigravida4pregnanciesormore(OR=2.7,95%GDMisassociatedwithanincreasedriskofpoorCI=1.7-4.2),beingQatariwomen(OR=1.7,95%pregnancyoutcomes(3).BabiesborntomotherswithCI=1.3-2.4),andpositivepaternalhistoryofdiabetesGDMareataninc
