3、reactoratprocessconditionssimilartothoseusedincommercialreactors.Theapparentreactionrateconstant,calculatedassumingthatthereactionratehasafirstorderdependenceonhy&ogenpressure,wasnearlythesameinbothreactorsduringthefirst380honstream.Thecatalystdeactivatedslowlywithtime-on-streaminbothreactors,w
4、hilethehydrocarbonselectivityshiftedtowardslowermolecularweightproducts.Secondaryreactions(1-alkenehydrogenationandisomerization)increasedgraduallywithtime-on-streamintheslurryreactor,whereastheoppositetrendwasobservedinthefixedbedreactor.Theeffectsofprocessconditionsonthecatalystactivityandpro
