2、calculatedwithallowanceforthepiezoelectriccoupling.Estimatesarepresented,anditisshownthatthepiezoelectricstiffeningandthevaluesoftheelasticanddielectricconstantsofthecrystals,whichcharacterizetheprocessesbywhichthesamplesweregrown,haveanonmonotonicin¯uenceonthefocusing.Piezoele
3、ctricsplittingofthephonon¯uxesisobserved,anditisfoundthattheslowtransverseacoustic~STA!modesarein®nitelyconcentrated.ThepossibilityofmodifyingthefocusinganisotropyofSTAphononsinhexagonalII±VIcompoundsbydopingthemwithlithiumispredicted.ExperimentsonacoustoelectronicgenerationinC
