1、AbstractAgreatdevelopmenthasbeenacceleratedsince1948，afterShannonpublishedhispaper“Amathematicaltheoryofcommunication'’．ThemostimportantachievementmustbetheTurboCode．BecauseofitsgoodperformanceofclosingtOShannonlimit,since1993aftertheTurbocodeWasraised，thecommunicationareapaygreatattentiontoit，andit

2、becameoneofthekeyareasofresearchinchannelcoding．Aftertensofresearchanddevelopment，thetheoryofTurbohasbeencompletedmostly,anditcannowbeusedinarealsystem，sothispapermainlydescribeshowtOimplementtheTurbodecoderbyusingDSPprocessor．Thethesisincludesthefollowingparts：First，theprincipleofTurboencodeanddeco

3、deisintroduced，includingdecoder、encoder、decodingalgorithms．Thentheprincipleofthesetwodecodingalgorithmsisderived，andthesimulationresultsoftheMatlabprogramsofthesetwodecodingalgorithmtitlegiven．Secondly,thehardwareplatformofachievingTurbodecoderisdescribed：XXXDSP,includingtheresources、theinstructions

4、etandthememoryspaceofit．Andthespecificrequirementofevaluating、thedatashouldbegivenandthestepsofevaluatingaredescribed．Thirdly,wediscussedthewaytOrunthefloat-pointprogramonfix—pointDSP,andthesimulationresultsofthetwof．X—pointprogramsarcgiven．FinallywecompletedTurbodecoderwhichusedSOVAdecoderalgorithm
