3、on,inordertocapturetheresponseaccuratelyusingcomputationaltechniquesastheinteractionsofthevariouscomponentsiscomplex.Threelaboratorytestspecimenshavingsustainableanddeconstructablesemi-rigidbeam-to-columnjointshavebeentestedandtheresultsareusedforvalidationofthefiniteelementmodel.
4、Precast“greenconcrete”(GC)slabshavingreducedCO2emissionsduringtheirmanufacturewereattachedcompositelytothesteelbeamviapre-tensionedboltedshearconnectors,withthecompositebeambeingconnectedtoH-sectioncolumnsusingaflushendplatewithtworowsofbolts.Theexperimentaltestingwasfull-sized,wi
5、thallthecomponentsbeingofthesamesizeaswouldbemetinpractice.Thenumericalmodelsimulatesthecompositebeam-to-columnconnectionunderhoggingmomentandincludesthenon-linearmaterialpropertiesofallconstitutivematerialsofthecompositejoint.Forvalidationofthecomputationalprocedure,theresultsoft
