3、te’slevelofjobcontrolwasassessedwithsubordinateperceptionsofjobcontrol,todeterminetheeffectsofperceptualcongruenceonreactionstoperformanceevaluation.Inaddition,supervisorattributionstosubordinateperformancewasassessedtotesttherelationshipwithsubordinateresponsestoperformanceevaluatio

4、n.Onehundredandforty-fourparticipantsincludingforty-fivematchedsupervisor-subordinatepairsinalargeQueenslandhealthcareorganisationweresurveyed.Themeasuresincludedperceptionsofjobcontrol,supervisorattributionstosubordinateperformanceandtheeffectsofsubordinatereactionstoperformanceeval

5、uation.Theresultsindicatedthattherewerenodifferencesintheperceptionsthesupervisorheldoftheiremployee’sjobcontrolandtheperceptionsthesubordinateheldinrelationtotheirownlevelsofjobcontrol.Inaddition,itwasfoundthatjobcontrolsignificantlycontributedtopositivereactionstoperformanceevaluat
