3、;Electromagneticshieldingeffectiveness.Abstract.NickelcoatingwaspreparedonsurfaceofEpoxyResinplatebyelectrolessplatingprocess.Surfaceandsectionmorphologiesofthecoatingswereobservedbyscanningelectronmicroscopy(SEM)andmetallographicopticmicroscopy.Electromagneticshieldingeffectivenesswaseva
4、luatedviaflangedcoaxialelectromagneticshieldingeffectivenesstester.Theresultsshowedthatthesurfaceofthenickelcoatingpreparedbyelectrolessplatingprocesswassmooth,anditsstructurewasfineandcompact.Theelectrolessdepositionrateofthenickelcoatingreachedat12µm/h.Inthefrequencyrangeof300kHzto100MH
5、ztheelectromagneticshieldingeffectivenessofthenickelcoatingwasabove60dB,andinthefrequencyrangeof100MHzto1.5GHztheelectromagneticshieldingeffectivenessofthenickelcoatingwasabove44dB.IntroductionEpoxyresinisonekindofthermosettingpolymermaterialswithgoodadhesive,electricalinsulation,corrosio
6、nresistance,highstrengthandotherproperties.Inthemeantimeasanelectronicdeviceandintegratedcircuitspackagingmaterial,itiswidelyusedinelectronicsindustrytopreventmoisture,dustandharmfulgasfromingressingintoelectronicdevicesorintegratedcircuits[1-3].Butasakindofelectricalinsulatormaterials,th
