3、ughtofservingthepeoplewholeheartedlyhasbeenenrichedanddeveloped,becomingthepoliticalcharacteroftheCommunistPartyofChinaandthecodeofconductofthecommunists.First,theformationofthethoughtofservingthepeoplewholeheartedlyInFebruary1939,MaoZedongsentalettertoZhangWentianforthefirsttimetoproposetheco
4、nceptofservingthepeopleinourparty.In1942,MaoZedongpointedoutinhisspeechattheYananForumonliteratureandartthatourliteratureandartwereforthepeopleandforthepeople.In1943,MaoZedongputforwardtheideaofservingthemassesinthepartyinstructions.InSeptember8,1944,MaoZedongdeliveredaspeechtoservethepeopleat
5、thememorialserviceforthemartyrsofZhangSide.Forthefirsttime,heprofoundlyexpoundedthethoughtofservingthepeople.Fromservingthepeopletoservingthepeoplewholeheartedlyreflectsthedevelopmentandsublimationofthisthought.InOctober1944,MaoZedongmetwiththejournalistswhenhepointedout:oftwomindsnothalfheart
