2、ers.2.Substantialpolicyactionshavetakenplacesinceourlastmeeting,andrecenteconomicdevelopmentspointtothecontinuationofamodestglobalrecoveryandaneasinginglobalfinancialmarketstress.WewelcometheimportantprogressmadebyEuropeinrecentmonthstostrengthentheirfisca
3、lpositions,adoptmeasurestoreducefinancialstress,buildstrongerinstitutions,implementgrowthenhancingstructuralreformsandtoputGreeceonasustainablepath.WealsowelcomethemarketimprovementassociatedwiththeactionsundertakenbytheECB.Nevertheless,growthexpectationsf
4、or2012aremoderateanddownsideriskscontinuetobehigh.Theinternationaleconomicenvironmenthascontinuedtobecharacterizedbyanunevenperformance,withweakgrowthinadvancedeconomiesandastronger,albeitslowing,expansioninemergingmarkets.Structuralproblems,insufficientgl
5、obalrebalancing,apersistentdevelopmentgapandhighlevelsofpublicandprivateindebtednessanduncertaintycontinueweighingonmedium-termglobalgrowthprospects.Whilevolatilityininternationalfinancialmarketshasdeclined,itgenerallyremainshighandwearecommittedtofurtherr
6、educedownsiderisks.Wearealerttotherisksofhigheroilpricesandwelcomethecommitmentbyproducingcountriestocontinuetoensureadequatesupply.Withunemploymentstilltoohighinmanycountries,wearefirmlycommittedtosupportinggrowthandjobcreation.3.TheCannesActionPlanforgro
7、wthandjobsestablishedsignificantcommitmentstowardachievingourgoalofstrong,sustainableandbalancedgrowth.Wearemakingprogressinimplementingthesecommitments,whichremainfullyrelevant.Weagreedtodaytoenhancemonitoringandaccountabilitytoensurethatourcommitmentsare
