3、etimesgivesuptheideaofeatingaltogether.Ifastudentispatientenoughtowaitforfood,sheisluckytofindaplacetoeatitbeforeshewearsit.Ifsheisparticularlyagile,shemayworkherwaythroughthemassestoaspotwhereshecaneatbeforeherfoodiscold.Onceseated,however,sheislikelytofindtheatmospheres
4、ochokedwithotherbodies,noise,anddeadairthatshelosesherappetite.Shecannoteasilyslipawayatthatpoint,either.Wedgingherwayoutofthecafeteria,shediscovers,isasmiserableasworkingherwayin.Onemightwonderwhy,aftertheNormanConquest,Frenchdidnotbecomethenationallanguage,replacingEngl
