2、pportABSTRACTWiththeapplicationanddevelopmentofscienceandtechnology,thetremendousamountofspatialandnonspatialdatahavebeenstoredinlargespatialdatabases.Analysingthemfordecisionisbadlyinneedofspatialdataminingandknowledgediscoverytoprovidknowledge.Inrecentyears,someeffortsinknowledgediscov
3、eryhavefocusedonapplyingtheroughsetmethodtoknowledgediscovery.Inthispaper,theapplicationofknowledgediscoverymethodbasedonroughsetinlandusedecisionsupportsystemisdiscussed.Firstthecharacteristicanddevelopmentofknowledgediscoverymethodbasedonroughsetarebrieflystated.Second,thecharacteristi
4、cofspatialdatainGISisdiscussed.Third,aknowledgediscoverymethodbasedonroughsetisputforwardinlandusedecisionsupportsystem.Theproceduresforthismethod,thealgorithmandkeymattersarealsoanalyzed.Finally,rulesextractedbythemethodshowsagoodresult.Thismethodhassolvedtheproblemofobtainingthedecisio
