4、nadditiontoinsufficientcapacity,Chinesesyntheticresinindustryischaracterizedbyalowtechnologylevel,poorqualityofproductswithlowaddedvalue,aswellasinferiorcompetitivenessincomparisonwiththeoverseas.ThereportnotonlyresolvesaroundthedevelopmentofsyntheticresininChinaandtheworld,butals
5、ounderlinesthesupply,demand,supply&demandbalance,import&exportandpricesoftopfivesyntheticresins,andatlengthanalyzesthemajorresinmanufacturersathomeandabroad.TakingPEresinwiththelargestapparentconsumptionforexample,thecapacityandoutputreached8.865milliontonsand8.21milliontonsrespec
6、tivelyin2009,andtheapparentconsumptionhit15.59milliontons,withthemarketsharesofChina-madeproductsmerelyaccountingfor52.7%.AmongChinesePEresinmanufacturers,SinoPecsubordinateshelda44.9%shareintermsofcapacity,followedbythesubsidiariesofPetroChinawitha35.6%share,andothercompaniesincl
