3、lymerizedwiththefirst-generationdendriticcarbazolemonomerVC3CbzG1throughtheconven-tionalfreeradicalpolymerizationtoobtainaseriesofelectro-phosphorescentrandomcopolymers.CharacteristicvibrationalbandsintheFT-IRspectrawereutilizedtodeterminethecom-positionsofthecopolym
4、ers.Theglasstransitiontemperaturesofthecopolymerswereabout90°C,andthe5%weightlosstemperatureswereallabove346°C.Allthecopolymersex-hibitedsimilarabsorbingbandsofthecarbazoleunitsintheUVvisabsorptionspectra.Inthephotoluminescentspectraofthecopolymerfilms,energytransfe
5、rwasfoundfromthecarbazoleunitstoiridiumphosphors.Noobviousenergytransferwasfoundinthecopolymersolutions.Light-emittingdiodeswerefabricatedwithtwoconfigurations.Withincreasingiridiumcontent,theelectroluminescenceofthecopolymersshiftedfrombluetoorangeandpassedthroughan
6、ear-whiteemissionregion.Aftertheoptimizationofthedevicestructure,thedevicecontainingthecopolymerPCbzG1Ir3hadthebestperformancewithamaximum2luminescenceof2441cd/mandamaximumexternalquantumefficiencyof0.520%.’INTRODUCTIONpolymerscanbeprocessedbyspin-coatingorinkjet-prin
