HistoryNestlécantraceitsoriginsbackto1866,whenthefirstEuropeancondensedmilkfactorywasopenedinCham,Switzerland,bytheAnglo-SwissCondensedMilkCompany.Oneyearlater,HenriNestlé,atrainedpharmacist,launchedoneoftheworld’sfirstpreparedinfantcereals‘Farinelactée’inVevey,Switzerland.Thetwocompaniesmergedin1905tobecometheNestlé youknowtoday,with headquarters still basedinthe SwisstownofVevey.Weemployaround280000peopleandhavefactoriesoroperationsinalmosteverycountryintheworld.Nestlésalesfor2010werealmostCHF110bn.
