3、eringtheentireDanishlabormarketfrom1980to2000,weareabletotraceprioractivitiesofallemployeesworkinginallDanishstart-upswithatleastoneemployee.Weexaminewhetherspin-offsfromsurvivingparents,spin-offsfromexitingparentsorotherstart-upsaremorelikelytosurvive.Moreov
4、er,weinvestigatewhetherfirmsmanagedandfoundedbyteamswithhigherlevelsofindustry-specificexperiencehaveahigherchanceofsurviving.Wefindthatspin-offsfromasurvivingparentandtoalesserdegreeindustry-specificexperiencepositivelyaffectsthelikelihoodofsurvival.Wealsofi
