4、ndinstitutions，publicorganizationsandpeople'scommunestoserveastheirlegaladvisers；　　（2）toacceptthemandateofapartytoacivilactiontoserveashisrepresentativeinlitigation；　　（3）toacceptthemandateofadefendantortheassignmentofapeople'scourttoserveashisdefenderinacriminalcase；toac

5、ceptthemandateofaprivateprosecutororofthevictimandhisnearrelativesinapublicprosecutiontoserveastheirrepresentativeinlitigation；　　（4）toacceptthemandateofapartyinanonlitigiousmattertogivelegalassistanceorserveasitsrepresentativeinmediationorarbitration；　　（5）togiveconsultat

6、iveadviceonlegalquestionsanddraftdocumentsinconnectionwithlitigationorotherlegalmatters.　　Lawyersshallpublicizethesocialistlegalsystemthroughalltheirprofessionalactivities.　　Article3Inperformingtheirduties，lawyersshallservethecauseofsocialismandtheinterestsofthepeople，ac
