3、reanetworks(NAN),wirelessmeshnetworksandwirelesssensornetworks(WSN).Thethesishasmainlydiscussedthefollowingnetwork-layertechniquesandprotocolsinwirelessadhocnetworks:(1).Baseduponthemodelinganalysisofmultipathroutinginadhocnetworks,aframeworktoestimatetheopt
4、imalloadbalancing,minimumend·to—enddelayandrouterobustnessinwirelessadhocnetworkshasbeenproposed.IEEE802.11basedsimulationresultshaveverifiedtheeffectivenessofdispersityandredundantmultipathrouting.(2).Thenodaltransmissionrangeboundshavebeenderivedforconnect
5、ivityguaranteeinhomogeneouswirelessadhocnetworks,andthemethodofintroducingmulti—radiointoheterogeneousadhocnetworksinordertoenhancetheconnectivityhasbeenproposedaswell.ThesimulationoftopologyconstructioninIEEE802.15_3abasedW涨hasverifiedtheeffectivenessofappl
6、yingmulti—radioinaidingtoeliminate‘‘dumbdevice’’phenomenonandenhancenetworkconnectivity.(3).AfteranalysizingtheTCPperformanceinwirelessadhocnetworks,thecross—layerdesignmethodthatisbaseduponadaptivemodulationanderror—correcting(ARQandFEC)inlinklayeranddisper
