4、institutionalorpersonalusageofsecurityorfunpurpose.Themostwidelyusagesofthesetechnologiesareforpersonalusage,suchthat,camerasusefacedetectionforsuccessfulfocusing,securitysystemsusefacerecognitiontoidentifytheperson’sidentity.(Today,personalcomputers,mostlylaptopcomputersuseface

5、recognitionforsecuritypurposeslikefingerprinttechnologyusedrecently).Theaimofourprojectis,toimplementtheperformanceofonefacedetectionalgorithm,basedonMatLabprogramminglanguage.Forthatpurpose,Ichoseaclassification-basedapproachusingGaborfilterfeaturesfordetectingfacesfromcluttere

6、dimages.As“RobustfacedetectionusingGaborfilterfeatures”facedetectionalgorithmsproposes,IusedfourGaborfilterscorrespondingtofourorientationsforextractingfacialfeaturesfromthelocalimageinslidingwindow.ThefeaturevectorbasedonGaborfiltersisusedastheinputoftheclassifier,whichisaBayes
