3、ropertiesunaffected.Inthisworktwodifferentmethodologiesofconstructinganintermediateapproximationtotheoptimizationproblemareinvestigated,i.e.classicalresponsesurfacemethodologyandKriging.Themajordifferencebetweenthetwomethodologiesishowtheresidualsbetweenthetruefunctionvalueandthepolynomialsurfaceapp
4、roximationvalueatadesignpointaretreated.Severaldifferentoptimizationproblemshavebeeninvestigated,bothanalyticalproblemsaswellasfiniteelementimpactproblems.ThemajorconclusionisthatevenifthesamekindofupdatingschemeisusedbothforKrigingandlinearclassicresponsesurfacemethodology,Krigingimprovesthesequenti
