4、ariesarepowerfultoolsforplantgermplasmcreationandfunctionalanalysisofgenome．Using９３Ｇ１１(O．sativassp．indicacv．９３Ｇ１１),anelitevarietywithcompletegenomesequencesavailable,weestablishedanirradiationＧinducedmutantlibrarycontaining３６１７lines．Threehundredandeightmutantlines
5、wereobtainedfromM２andM３generationsandclassfiedinto１５typesofmutation,includingplantheight,tillernumber,plantarchitecture,inflorescencearchitecture,spikeletarchitecture,fertility,leafcolor,leafshape,headingdate,andbentazonresistance．Themutationfrequenciesrangedfrom０
6、．０３％to２．７４％．Usingreversegeneticsapproach,wefoundthatCYP７０４B２isthecausalgenefortwomalesterilemutantsandCYP８１A６isresponsiblefortwobentazonＧlethalmutations．Forthetwomalesterilemutants,nucleotidesubstitutionanddeletionweredetectedinthethirdandfourthexonsofCYP７０４B２,res
7、pectively．ForthetwobentazonＧlethalmutants,a７Ｇbpanda２３ＧbpdeletionweredetectedinthefirstandsecondexonsofCYP８１A６,respectively．GeneticstudiesrevealedthatwildＧtypeplantsandmutantplantssegregatedat３∶１ratio,suggestingthatthesemutanttraitswerecontrolledbysinglerecessivege
