4、Duetothepressureofinternationalcompetitionandmarketglobalizationinthe21stcentury,therecontinuestobestrongdrivingforcesinindustrytocompeteeffectivelybyreducingmanufacturingtimesandcostswhileassuringhighqualityproductsandservices.Currentindustriesarefacingthenewch
5、allenges:quickresponsetobusinessopportunityhasbeenconsideredasoneofthemostimportantfactorstoensurecompanycompetitiveness;manufacturingindustryisevolvingtowarddigitalization,networkandglobalization.Therefore,newproductsmustbemorequicklyandcheaplydeveloped,manufac
6、turedandintroducedtothemarket.Inordertomeetthedemandofrapidproductdevelopment,thevariousnewtechnologiessuchasreverseengineering(RE),3DCAD,rapidprototyping(RP),andrapidtooling(RT)haveemergedandareregardedaskeyenablingtoolswiththeabilitytoshortentheproductdevelopm
