1、AbstractPerylenetetracarboxylicdiimide(PDI)derivativesareimportantmolecularbuildingblocksthatarecurrentlybeinginvestigatedforuseinavarietyofphotoactiveorganicmaterialsbecauseoftheirlowlightandthermalfadingrates,highluminescenceefficiency,wideabsorptionandemissionbandsinbothvisiblere

2、gion,andoptoelectronicproperties.Byvirtueoftheiruniqueopticalandelectricalproperties,organicmoleculesincorporatedwithelectrondonorandelectronacceptormoietieshavereceivedintenseaRemionbecauseoftheirpotentialapplicationsinnumerousfieldssuchaslight—emittingdiodes(LEDs),field—effecttran

3、sistors(OFETs),photovoltaiccells(PCs)andorganiclasers.etc.InthispaperPDIamphiphile1,7-·PyridinoylPerylene·-Diimidehasbeensynthesizedandintroductionof2-ethylhexanmideontotheN-positiontoenhancethesolubilityinorganicsolventandpyridineontothebay·positionashydrophilicgrouptobalancetheele

4、ctroniccloudofthewholemolecularofPDI.Meanwhile,theNatomofpyridinegroupcallbeprotonedbyHCltoproducedifferentmolecular.Inmethanol,wegetJ●●●●●■■■■■—●differentaggregationsindifferentconcentration.Thelevelofassemblylargedependsonthelevelofprotoned.Throughdynamicdissociationofbay-substitu

5、tedpyridiumchlorides,probedbythedistinctspectralfeaturesbeforeandafterprotonationofthebay-substitutedpyridines,wefindoutthattherelationoftheassemblyandtheHV-visandfluorescencespectrum.ThedifferentaggregationofPDlswascharacteredbySEM,TEM,CLSM.Thedynamicaoequilibriabetweentheprotonate

6、dandunprotonateddyesshowncapabilitytomodulateCO—assemblyofPDIdyes.Furthermore,5,5一dimethyl一2,2-dipyridinederivatesarealsosynthesizedinthiswhichhavealarge兀-conjugatesystem.Thederivatescoordinatewithdifferentpapertransitionmetalatoms(Cu,Ag,Co,Cd),allofthecoordinationcompoundsshowdiffe
