4、nditionofsecureandstableoperationofpowersystemandreliableandcontinuouspowersupply．Underthisbackground，itisofimportanttheoreticalandpracticalsignificancetostudytheoperationanddispatchofpowersystemindepth．Basedonthevalidinequalities(VIs)andouterapproximationmethod(OAM)in

5、mathematicalprogramming，thisthesisaimstostudythemodelsandalgorithmsforunitcommitment(uc)andsecurity-constrainedunitcommitmentwithoptimalpowerflow(OPF-scuc)ofpowersystem．VIsarelinearinequalities．Vlscanefficientlyreducethefeasibleregionofthecontinuousrelaxationofmixedint

6、egerprogrammingandcantightenthecontinuousrelaxationwhenVIsareaddedtothecontinuousrelaxationascuttingplanes．BydoingSO，theoptimalsolutioncorrespondingtOtheintegervariablesofthetightenedcontinuousrelaxationcanapproximatetheoptimalsolutionoftheoriginalmixedintegerprogrammi

7、ngbetter．Asadecompositionmethod，OAMdecomposesthemixedintegernonlinearprogramming(MI—NLP)intoasequenceofmixedintegerlinearprogramming(MI—LP)masterproblemsandnonlinearprogramming(NLP)sub—problems．OAMsolvestheMI—NLPbyalternatelysolvingtheMI—LPmasterproblemsandtheNLPsub—pr
