2、ionofallkinds.Itisutilizedinlasers,electro-optic,acousto—optic,andopticalstoragedevices.Preciseknowledgeofthelight—inducedchargetransportgovernedbydefectcentersofLNisallindispensableprerequisiteforanyoftheseapplications.Light-inducedabsorptionexperimenthasbeenusedtostudytheelectronictransfermechani
3、smofelectro—opticalcrystal(suchasLi.Nb03,KNb03,andBaTi03).Thelight-inducedabsorptionknowledge,ontheonehand,Canprovideaninsightintothemechanismofthelight-inducedchargetransportprocess.Ontheotherhand,itcanofferconsiderableguidancetorecordadesiredhologramfortheapplicationinformationstorageorintegrated
4、optics.Nowresearchonthelight-inducedabsorptionofthelithiumniobatealmostfocusonreduced,dopedlithiumniobate,andthegrowthstateofnear-stoichiometriccrystalandstoi—chiometriccrystalslackofconcem,thebasisofthecorrespondingcarriermobilitymodelhasnotyetestablished.ThePolaronofLithiumniobateplaysallimportan
5、troleinthecartiertransportprocesses,whichisasthedonororaccepterofelectroninthecrystal.Studyaboutpolaronisalmostaimedatbipolaronandboundsmallpolaron,atthesametimethereportsaboutholepolaron,freesmallpolaron,andQ-polaronisfew.Basedontheaboveviewpoints,Themainworkinthispaperincludes:1、Completelysummari
6、zesthefactorswhichinfluencetheconcentrationofbipolaron,smallpolarons,andfleesmallpolaronaswellastherelationbetweentheconcentrationofpolaronsandthelight—inducedabsorption;2、Studyonlight-inducedabsorptionoflithiumniobatecrystalswithdifferentcom—ponents,andanalysistheresults.Theoreticalanalysisandexpe
