4、asin,thebanksofQongquehe,andtheTarimRiver.Sincethe1950’s,thedevelop-mentofindustryandagriculturehascausednotonlyincreasedpollutionintothelake,butalsothewaterqualityhasdeteriorated.Farmlanddrainageisthemaincauseforthewaterpollution.Toquantitativelyanalyzethefarmlanddrainagepollutio
5、n,dataweregatheredforthecharacteristicsofspatialdistributionandfortheannualchangesinrecentyears.Thefollowingitemsbelowwereusedforobtainingthesedata:First,thereisthebasisoftheremotesensingimagesandthefieldsurvey,wherewerepresenttheGIS’splottingforthe26maindrainagecanals.Secondly,by
6、usingthemonitoringdataofthedrainagewaterintothelakeduringtheperiodofJune2002toMay2003,wecanapproximatelyestimatetheincreasedamountsofwastewaterandpollutants.Thenlastly,wewillusetheresultsoftheeightmostimportantcanalstobecomparedwiththedatafortheyear2007.Thecriteriasetabovehelpedpr
7、oducethefollowinginformation:1)Thetotaldrai-nagevolumeofwastewater,TN,andTPcontentof26maindrainagecanalswas4.3×108m3,1287tand10trespectively;2)Forthe17drainagecanalsintotheLake,theYellowMainDryLinehadthelargesttotaldrainagevolumeofwastewaterandTPcontent,1.35×108m3and4.3trespec-tiv
