4、sedasanapproachnotonlytoprotectcomponent,butalsotoimrpovesystemstability.Differentlyfromconventionalprotectionrelays,withtheacquisitionofwideareainformation,wideareaprotectionsystemscanmoreaccuratelydetectcomponentsoffaultandisolatefaultsintheirsmallestareas.Inthisdi
5、ssertation,thebackgroundandresearchsituationofthewideareaprotectionareintroduced,andvariouswideareaprotectionsystemsproposedatpresentaresummarized.Thecharacteristics,thefunctionmakingupandsystemstructuresarediscussed,andapracticalwideareaprotectionsystemschemeispropo
6、sedinthisdissertation.Theanalysisshowsthatthetraditionalcriterionofcurrentdifferentialprotectionhasthedrawbackandisnotsuitforwideareaprotectionsystem.Byimprovingtherestrainingcharacteristics,animprovedcurrentdifferentialprotectioncriterionisproposedinthisdissertation
