3、search.Inthisthesiswestudythepropagationoftheultrashortpulsedbeamsbytheoreticalmethodandthenumericalsimulation.Thethesisiscomposedof5chapters,amongwhichare,Chapter1isasurvey,Chapter2,3,4aretheintroductionsofourownwork,andChapter5isaconclusion.Thethesisisstructuredpar
4、ticularlyasfollows.Chapter1:Thedevelopmentandappliedsignificanceoftheultrashortpulsedbeamareintroduced.Chapter2:Thebasicsequationsandthecomplexanalyticalsignaltheoryareintroduced.PorrasandFuetalproposedthatslowlyvaryingenvelopeapproximationandthecomplexamplitudeenvel
5、opedon’tfitanymorefortheultrashortpulsedbeamshorterthanorevenneartooneoscillationopticalperiod,becausetheyleadtOaspatialsingularity.Westudythepropagationofultrashortchirpedpulsebeamsinfreespace.Theresultsshowthatthechirpinfluencedonthespatialsingularitymorethanthewid
