2、ownitsGDPby3timesformorethanthepastdecade,andbecomethemajorcontributortoChineseevergrowingeconomy.Atthesametime,thepriceofthetelecomservicebecomesafocus.AccordingtotheBasicTelecomAgreementoftheWTO,theChinesegovernmentshouldopenupitstelecommarketentirelysince2007.TheChinesetel
3、ecomservicemarketisinamorecompetitivesituation,andtheunprecedentedchallengeisbroughttopriceregulation.Undertheabovecircumstances,thispaperintendstofocusonthetheoryanddemonstrationresearchofpriceregulationintelecomindustryofChina.Firstly,thisdissertationstudiesthecharacteristi
4、csoftelecomindustryandthemarketstructureofChinesetelecomservicecompetition,whichisthebasicofstudyingtelecomprice.Secondly,itdiscussesthetheoryandmethodsofpriceregulation,comparingthemodelsofforeigntelecompriceregulation.Then,thepaperstudiesthecourseofpriceregulationrevolution
5、inChinesetelecomindustryandthepresentmodelsofpriceregulation.Afterthat,ademonstrationresearchismadeonChinesetelecompriceregulation,basedon1114piecesofpaperinChinesetelecomservicemarketfrom2003to2005.Atlast,someadviceonChinesetelecompriceregulationisgiven.Thoughthemethodofgrey
6、relevanceanalysis,thispapershowedthattherevenuehasthebiggestinfluenceonChinesetelecomenterprise’sCAPEX,whichindicatesA-Jeffectinpublicregulation.BystudyingtheConcentrationandHerfindahlIndex,thispaperfoundthatthemarketstructureofChinesetelecomservicecompetitionisstilloligarchm
7、onopoly.Thestudyshowedthat,itismorepossiblefornewentrantstobreakupthepricealliancethanincumbents.Asthedepreciationdoesnotaffectonthequotientofincumbentsnotablelyorthegrossprofitoftheindustryissmall,incumbentswillprovideapriceumbrellafornewentrants.Thestudyshowedthat,inpractic
