4、sproblem,anewdevicewassetuptoperformwideboreelectrochromatography.AquartztubewithmillimeteridwasusedastheseparationchannelandapropercoolantwaspumpedthroughtheinnercoolingcapillarywhichiscoaxiallyinsertedintotheseparationchanneltodispeltheJouleheatgenerateddur
5、ingelectrophoresis.TheWEsystemmadeitpossibletoperformelectrochromatographyinawideboretube.PolyacrylamidemonolithiccolumnwaspreparedsuccessfullyOiltheWEsystem.Thecolumnwasevaluatedintheelectrochromatographymodeusingthiourea,naphthaleneandbiphenylasprobecompoun
6、ds.ResultsindicatedthatthissystemcandissipateJouleheatinsituinrealtime,andhashigherloadabilitycomparedwithCEC.AgarosegelcolumnwaspreparedontheWEsystem.Higherelectricfieldstrengthcouldbeappliedacrossthegelcolumnduetotheinnercoolingmechanism,whichmadetheseparat
7、ionfasterthanconventionalagarosegelelectophoresis.Atthesametime,lowerconcentrationdetectablilitywasobtainedduetodirectUVdetectionandlongerlightdistance.2.Sulfatedpoly(IB-cyclodextrin)silica-basedmonolithiccolumnforCECAsulfatedpoly(IB-cyclodextrin)silica-based
