4、s,theintegratedoptimizationofacombustionprocessisstudied.Inthispaper,alinearmodelissetuptorelatethefeaturesofthetemperaturedistributionswiththeinputofthecombustionprocesses,suchasthemassflowratesoffuelandairfedintothefurnacesthroughalltheburners.Afurnac
5、ecombustioncontrolstrategybasedonanadaptivegeneticalgorithm,usingagroupofnewcharacteristicparametersfeaturingthe3-Dtemperaturedistributioninsidethefurnaces,isstudiedbysimulation.Theresultsshowthatthecontrolmethodcouldprovidesuitablecontrolsignalsforthef
6、uelandairmassflowratestochangetheloadlevel,estimatethefailureofindividualburnerandgivecorrectcontrolsignalstodealwithit.Thetemperaturedistributionoptimalcontrolstrategybasedontheadaptivegeneticalgorithmcanbeappliedintothecombustionoftangentiallypc-fired
7、utilityboilers.Anexperimentalstudybasedoncombustionadjustmentwasconductedona300MWcoalfiredboiler,wherea3-Dtemperaturedistributionvisualizationmonitoringsystemwasinstalled.Theresultsshowthatthecorrectlyfurnacetemperaturedistributioncanbeobtainedbythesyst
