3、rwillsuffermuchmoreinjuryrisk.Sotheresearchonsideimpactisveryimportantforimprovingthecrashworthinessofmotorvehiclearoundcountry.Atfirst,thefundamentaltheoriesinstudyofcomputersimulationaredescribed.ThesideimpactsafetysimulationofonenativeHEvehiclewaschosentostudy.Acc
4、ordingtothecountryregulation,theMovingDeformationBarriermodelwasdevelopedandresearchedthemethodofadjustingthematerialparameters.Basedonthethree-dimensionalCADmodelofthevehicle,thefiniteelementsimulationmodelofthevehiclesidecrashhadbeenbuilt.Accordingtothecountrysidei
5、mpactregulation,thevehiclemodelwasimpactedbyMDBmodel.Theresultofcontrastingthesimulationandtherealcartestdataindicatestheaccuracyofthesimulationmodelandvalidatedthevirtualtestsimulationmethod.Atlastsomemeasureswhichcanenhancedthecrashworthinessofsidevehiclebodywerere
6、searched,developingtwooptimizationschemes:thecollocationformofsideimpactbarandadoptingHSSinsomepartsofBpole.Thesimulatedresultindicatethatthecollocationformofsideimpactbarhasalittleeffectfordevelopingthecrashworthinessofthevehiclesidebody,whileapplyingHSSinsomepartso
