2、nofpowerelectronicsapparatusandnonlinearloads,recentlythepowerqualityproblemshavebeenmoreandmoredeterioratedbythedistortedwaveformofvoltagesandcurrentsinpowernetwork.TraditionalpowerqualityanalysismethedisFouriertransform.Asatraditionalanalysistoolinfrequencydo
3、main,itisnotsuitableforthenon—stationaryandnon—linearsignalsprocessing.Thusnewanalysismethodsarerequiredtodetectandanalysispowerqualitydisturbancesaccurately.Hilbert-HuangTransform(HHT)isappliedindetectionandanalysisofpowerqualityinthispaper.Shorttimepowerquali
4、tydisturbancesandharmotiesaretakenmoreconsideration.Forthefirsttime,Hilbert-HuangTransformisappliedtodetectharmonicintractionpowersysteminthispaper.AndsimulationresultsshowthatthismethodiSeffectivetoextractharmonic.Themaincontributionisgavenasfollows:Hilbert—Hu

7、lextensionmethods.Themeritsofsupportvectorregressionmachines,BPneutralnetworkandmirrorizingextensionarediscussed,andthedisadvantagesofthemarelisted.SimulationresultsshowthatthetwomethodsareeffectivetoimprovetheendeffectsofHHT.Comparisionofthetwomethodsisgivenin
