2、fheatandmasstransferandthefieldofindoorenvironment．Theemissionofwastegascontainingbenzeneisverycommon，andithasgreatdamagestoenvironmentandhumanhealth．Activatedcarbonadsorptionismostlyadoptedforthetreatmentofbenzene．AndactivatedCal"bonfiber(ACF)，anewactivatedcarbonmat

3、erial，isgettingmoreandmoreapplicationsinwastegastreatmentduetoitshi．ghefficiencyadsorptionanddesorptionproperties．Theuseofactivatedcarbonfiberadsorbentisacyclicregenerationprocess，buttheexistingresearcheshavepaidmuchmoreattentionontheadsorptionoforganicgas，whereaslit

4、tleresearchWasdoneondesorptionregeneration．Therefore，allexploratorystudyondesorptionandcyclicadsorption／desorptionwereinvestigatedinthispaper．Meanwhile，thepropertiesofactivatedcarbonfiberandbenzeneadsorptionwerealsostudiedcarefully．Thepropertiesoftheactivatedcarbonfi

5、bersampleswereanalyzedbynitrogenadsorptionmethodat77K(ASAP2010)．ThenitrogenadsorptionisothermsofACFsamplesexhibitedatypeIisotherm，whichisindicativeofmicroporousmaterials．ThesurfaceareasofACFsamplescanbemeasuredusingtheLangmuirequationandtheBETequation．Theexternalsurf

6、acesareaandmicroporevolumeswereobtainedbyt-plot．AlsotheporedistributionsofACFsamplesweredeterminedbyH—Kmethod，andthefractaldimensionswerealsocalculatedinthispaper．Theresultsshowthatmicroporevolumesincreasewiththeincreaseofsurfacearea，buttheACTsamplewiththesmallestsur

7、faceareahadthehighestfractaldimension,andthefractaldimensionWasconsistentwithporedistribution．Inthispaper,experimentsweredoneontheself-builtexperimentalplatform．Thebenzeneadsorption,desorptionandcyclicadsorption／desorptionwercmeasuredthermogravimetricaUyusingaTGA／SDT
