2、rtherimprovementoftheiropticalstoragecapability,propertiesofphoto-stimulatedluminescenceintheBaCl2:Eu2+phosphorandEu—dopedfluorochlorozirconateglassceramicsweremainlyinvestigated.AseriesofEu2+_dopedfluorochlorozirconateglass-ceramicsandthepowderofBaCl2:Eu2+werepreparedbysolidstatere
3、actionmethod.ThecompositionofsampleisanalyzedbyX—raydiffraction.Basedonphoto—luminescence,photo—stimulatedluminescence(PSL),decaycurvesofphoto—stimulatedluminescenceandtheturbidityoffluorozirconateglass-ceramics,theopticalpropertiesofthesematerialswerestudied.ItisshownfromtheXRDmeas
4、urementsthatglass-ceramicssmallcrystallitesofBaCl2areembeddedinglassmatrixesofEU2+-dopedfluorochlorozirconateandintheBaCl2:EU2+phosphor.ThePSLintheglassceramicsmoreprobablyresultsfromthe5d-4ftransitionofEll2+intheBaCl2crystallites.Studyshowsthatthesematerialshaveevidentphoto.stimula
5、tedluminescenceandCanbeappliedtoopticalstorage.Comparedwiththewell-establishedsingle-crystalBaFBr:Eu2+,theBaCl2:Eu2+phosphorhastherelativelyslowdecaytime.Thetransparentfluorochlorozirconateglass—ceramicsnotonlyhavetherelativelyslowdecaytime,butalsohavethehighspatialresolution.Theann
6、ealedtimeandtheconcentrationofBaCl2offluorochlorozirconateglass—ceramicswerealsoinvestigatedtofindouttheinfectionofphoto—stimulatedluminescenceandthespatialresolution.Studyshowsthatfluorozirconateglass-ceramicshavethelowerspatialresolutionandthehigherPSLwithimprovedtheannealedtimean
